Elizabeth Melton, Owner, Family Nurse Practitioner & Certified Nurse Midwife
Beth is passionate about the health of the whole family. She has been working with moms and babies for over 20 years.
Beth approaches health care from a holistic and integrative perspective, looking for the root of the issue vs treating symptoms alone. She uses exercise, nutrition, supplements, herbal remedies, stress reduction, and traditional as well as western medicine practices to find what works best for each individual client. She follows the midwifery model of care and values shared decision making with her clients. She provides evidence based information and believes that families will make the decision that is best for them. Beth promotes physiological birth without unnecessary intervention and supports families throughout prenatal care, labor, birth, postpartum, lactation, and newborn care, as well as well woman and primary care for the whole family.

Vanessa Rojas, Family Nurse Practitioner
Vanessa has been in the nursing/medical field since 2017. She has worked in various fields such as home health, psychiatry, pediatrics, community health, education, and private care. She is a Family Nurse practitioner certified through the AANP. Vanessa is continuing her studies by working on a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner post master’s certificate beginning in Fall of 2024 at UNR.
Vanessa focuses on preventative care and believes this to be the cornerstone to healthier lives and futures. Vanessa supports her patients by providing evidence based care while still maintaining patient needs at the forefront of healthcare planning.
Vanessa is married, and together with her husband, has two dogs. She loves podcasts, reading, and enjoying time with her family. Vanessa was born and raised in Utah, and has been in the Reno area since 2018.

Andie Weber, Lactation Consultant, Birth Assistant & Student Midwife
Andie has always had a passion for birth, ever since childhood she knew that serving women as they grow their families was where she was meant to be. Andie first discovered doula work a decade ago and has been learning and growing ever since. She was lucky enough to do her birth assistant training on “The Farm” in Tennessee, and has experience assisting midwives in both Utah and Nevada. Her husband Troy, daughter Indigo, and son Avalon are the biggest blessings in her life, and they are her biggest cheerleaders as she achieves her dreams of becoming an IBCLC and a midwife.

Rylee Chalk, Lactation Consultant
Rylee is a mom to an energetic son and daughter! Rylee and her family recently moved to Nevada where her husband was born and raised. Her husband served in the Marine Corps for a little over 9 years so Rylee has a big heart for military/veteran families and has spent the last 6 years supporting women and families on military bases.
She is also a global breast health educator. Women’s health and breast health became a huge passion of hers when her mom was diagnosed with breast cancer at the young age of 40.
She is here to cheer you on and walk along side you however you may need!

Hadit Manzo, Birth Assistant & Student Midwife
Hadit was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. She first studied Midwifery in Las Vegas Nevada under Serenity Birth Center in 2020 and is now currently in her fourth phase of the North American Registry of Midwives PEP process. She is back in her home town Reno, Nevada to serve the birthing community with her learned knowledge and experience in Las Vegas! Hadit hopes to complete her student midwifery Journey by April 2024!
Hadit is Guatemalan American and knows basic communication in Spanish and American Sign Language; she hopes to help serve minorities in the birthing community. Hadit loves climbing, hiking, and camping in her spare time.

Marisza Sheldon, Office Manager
Marisza is a mom of three wonderful and wild young children. Her birth and breastfeeding experiences and struggles with each were so varied! Because of that, it is her highest priority is to help all families to form strong bonds and to ease the stress of the “office” or insurance questions so that the most important things can be taken care of more easily.
Marisza has been married to her best friend for 10 years. She and her husband, along with her three kiddos, share their house with four snakes, a plethora of freshwater fish, and two large dogs. She loves reading, being out in the sunshine, going on adventures, and traveling with her family.
